Sangeet Sadhana Foundation presents Begum Parveen Sultana live in concert as its premier concert series. Concert Series is a bi-annual flagship event under the foundation and is envisioned to celebrate and promote Hindustani classical music by providing a platform to facilitate interactions with legendary maestros of Hindustani classical music through performances.
As the first presentation, the foundation proudly welcomes Padma Bhushan Begum Parveen Sultana ji to mesmerize the music enthusiasts of Bangalore at the Chowdiah memorial hall on 30th November, 6:30 pm onwards.
Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan Begum Parveen Sultana is a renowned Hindustani classical singer from the Patiala Gharana. She is felicitated with the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award among several other accolades. Learning from her father who is her first guru, she gave her first stage performance when she was 12 years old. She has been recording music since 1965 and started her professional career with an Assamese Film Morom Trishna. Rising to victory, the artist has been winning many awards and recognition and stands as an inspiration to millions.
